Question
My daughter is an American in Honduras.  She went there in October with a legal passport.  How long can she stay there?

Answer
It looks like she can stay in Honduras for 90 days pursuant to a new agreement.

I would call the Honduran Embassy to clarify what she should do, but most likely, she is now illegally in Honduras and subject to Honduran law.  Their number in DC is (202) 966-7702, or you can call one of the Honduran consulates in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, Phoenix, or San Francisco.
