Answer I have never heard of "chile ristra", it may be a type of chile which there are dozens of varieties. It may be some local dish for a particullar Latin country/region/etc. Anyway, this question really is not about Central American History, it is about food/local customs/regional food/etc. Thanks for using AllExperts.com.
