I recently learned of two locations of Santa Ann's wooden leg:  (1) Springfield,IL at the military museum where the custodian said it was authentic and copyrighted as such.

(2) Decatur, Il, in Governor Oglesby's home on Williams street.  I have visited both, and each says theirs is authentic

The wooden leg is in Springfield, Illinois. I searched for it in Springfield and found it to be stored at Camp Lincoln until the new museum is finished.  I was lucky enough to hold it in my hands!  Hope this helps.

The Illinois troops who captured Santa Ana's wooden leg were members of the 4th Illinois Infantry Regiment.  According to family history one of my ancestors, Achillies Morris, was a member of the group.  Achillies died of disease in Camargo, Mexico in 1847.
