my mother introduced me to ceramics and i used to paint a little when i was like 10-13 years old and now I'm interested in it as a hobby i didn't do real detailed stuff but now i would like to so what do i start off with and what supplies do i need to do so  of course i know i cant start doing real complicated things off the start but where do i begin

Congratulations on choosing a really rewarding hobby! First, check in your phone book if there is a 'paint your own pottery' type studio in your town. They have sprung up all over the U.S. They're wonderful places to get started. They generally offer a large selection of bisqueware that is ready to paint. They sometimes have classes or instructors on hand that can spend time showing you how to glaze & decorate your piece. If you don't find anything, write me back.
