Question
QUESTION: I was going through some of my deceased great aunt's things and found this decanter. This is English Greyhound porcelain small decanter, it measures 9 1/4" high and 2 7/8" wide. It has an "S" stamped on the base in black ink. It is in excellent condition no chips or cracks, a very tiny piece of the cork is broken off. The cork is attached to the dogs neck.
ANSWER: Sharon,
It's great. What would you like from me? Leisha

Sharon,
Many of the North Staffordshire potteries marked their work with an "S". Here's a couple places you can start to try to match up your "S".
