Question
A vase that my Grandmother was given when working for the 'Laird of the Manor' in Perthshire, Scotland between 1910 - 1915 has ended up with me. It is a blue glazed vase with gold edged flowers and butterflies on it. It has a  crown with the word TURIN along the base of it and below the crown is a shield with VIENNA diagonally across it.It has a set of numbers displayed next to the crown and shield as follows:
5760
2453
7.

Can you shed any light on its origins please.

Thanks in anticipation,

Cameron Smith

Answer
Cameron,
I'm not an antiques expert, but here are a few sites you can check out that may show the markings your vase has. If you don't find it here there are several other sites you can check or I'd recommend taking it to your local antique dealer for a look. Good luck, Leisha
