Question
hi,
New to this..and a little frustrated!
In dire need of help!
I am having trouble with my fired items being crazed and its making me a little crazed as well!!
I poured Cashmere Stoneware slip, fired to a bisque 04, then
applied glaze  6  (intended for food items)...
Problem (blonde moment?)I do not know what I was thinking,  I fired the glazed items (tableware items) at an 05 instead of a 6. Ooops.  So are the pieces ruined? Or can i reglaze, refire them or what!?  Any and all help will be so much appreciated!!!
Thanks so much
Tambra

Answer
Hi tambra,
Just put them back in the kiln and fire to the correct Temp.

I bisque fire to cone 06, however I am unfamiliar with your clay body.

A higher bisque can help reduce glazing.

Contact the supplier and get recommended firing range and get a list from them of compatable glazes that THEY know suits the body.
