Question
All that I am going to do with a kiln is put decals on 12x12 ceramic tiles, coffee mugs, and wine bottles and glasses I know nothing about this, can you please tell me what kind of kiln I will need to buy? Thank you

Answer
Hi Cheryl,

I'm not sure where you live, but you should be able to find a good used kiln. There are several sources you can try; your local ceramic supplier, Craigslist.com is a great source and your local newspaper ads. You can find some wonderful sources online. Paragon is a terrific source both online and live. http://www.paragonweb.com/ for information.

You can call and speak to them and they will direct you well. You don't need a high fire kiln as you'll be low-firing. Often you can find someone whose getting out of porcelain dolls or ceramics. If you buy used, make sure the inside bricks are in good shape and the coils. Be sure to check out the power source needed. Most kilns require a 220 outlet.

Please let me know if I can assist you further.
