Question
I have been unable to find and purchase natural bone ash.  Bone Ash used in crusables and metal casting - do you know if this is the same type?  Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you for your assistance.

David

Answer
The cost of making natural bone ash has made the synthetic bone ash take over the market. The synthetic bone ash seems to be an acceptable replacement(Australia) and it's all I and others I know use these days.
If you are in the states http://www.kcmetroceramic.com/ list natural bone ash in thier online shopping cart @ $2-30 a pound. Do a search there putting in the full description, natural bone ash.
