Question
I recently purchased a home and in the basement were two kiln's 1- ceramichrome model # ck2329 serial # 8308, and 2- sitter Kiln model # lt-3k and an assortment of 400 plus molds I would like to know what the value is on the kiln's so I can place them on Craig list.

Answer
Pamala,
Ceramichrome was bought out, I think by Mayco. First, I'd contact a local supplier in your area. Here's a site that will help you locate one close to you;

Often they have a bulletin board you can place an ad on and they can help you determine the value for  your area. It depends upon the age, size and condition of the kiln and what someone in your area is willing to pay.

If you find a supplier that sells kilns & has a similar model for sale, you can list what a similar new kiln goes for. If you have a photo you can send me, I can better help you.

Where I live, I currently have an older model kiln for sale that is $150.
Hope this helps. Feel free to shoot me a photo and I'd be happy to try to work up a more accurate comparison for you.
