Question
I have a boy and girl statues that I would like to place outside, they have been painted for inside use.  Is there anything I can spray them with to protect them from the weather so I can put them outside?

Answer
Hi Karen, The best product is a traditional wood glue. I don't know what products are available to you but the one to use is a water soluble white looking that dries clear. Here is the web page of the product in Australia.

You dilute it with water up to 50:50, it will dry hard and clear and be completely weather proof. If you want to put more than one layer on let the first one dry out. I suggest using a small area of the statue as a test area first before full application.
