Ceramics/identifying pitcher & mug set

Question
I inherited a pitcher & mug set from my grandmother. My dad acquired the set in 1952 as a gift for grandma. I have been trying to research them for 25 years. All the pottery mark tells me is that it is a Japanese import. I have never seen anything comparable to it anywhere in books or the Internet. Can you help if I sent you a picture?

Answer
Dear Terri,
Can you also send a photo of the bottom of the pieces with a close up of the marks? I will sure try. I'm not an expert on marks, but I may be able to direct you to some people who could help.

Look forward to getting your photos. Leisha
