Ceramics - Looking for bisque santa and village pieces to paint

Expert: Leisha Hiester - 1/11/2009

Question
I'm looking for bisque santas, nutcrackers, or village pieces I can paint over time but all I can seem to find are pre-painteds. Any great places that will ship pieces and paint?
Thanks!

Answer
Dear Aprl,
It's hard, I know because so many of the small shops have gone out of business. If you can't find a greenware or bisque supplier in your town, try some of the online suppliers. One that I've used is called, "BisqueFire." They're connected with Gare. They may not have what you're looking for, but they may be able to direct you to someone who does have it.

Hope this helps. Leisha
