Question QUESTION: I am interested in setting up a class for secondary learning disabled students in painting on ceramics. Because we are up in the Arctic, we have to have the kilns and materials in the school, there being no shops nearby where we could do this.
My intention is to help the students start up a small business in mug making; using stencils as well as free form painting.
Any info you could give me would be so helpful!
Thank you!
Bonnie
ANSWER: Bonnie,
Have you found a supplier? You'll need one for clay, kilns, glazes, etc. If you tell me where you're located, I'll try to locate one nearest you.

QUESTION: I have no supplier, and I would also like to know where I can get information regarding the whole process of creating the mugs from buying the glazed mugs (already one colour, probably white)to the painting or stenciling to the firing in a kiln, probably that would fit 12 mugs at a time.
I would need suppliers in the Montreal area.
Thank you so much for your help!
