Expert: Leisha Hiester - 2/14/2009

Question
I AM VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I CAN PUT GOLD LEAF ON MY CERAMIC LADY I HAVE, WITHOUT PUTTING IT IN THE KILN, AS I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO ONE. ALSO HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING THIS AS I HAVE NOT DONE THIS BEFORE. THANKYOU

Answer
DEAR RITA,

OF COURSE YOU CAN. DO YOU HAVE A MAGNIFYING LAMP? THAT MAY HELP ALSO. IF YOU SIMPLY GOOGLE, 'HOW TO APPLY GOLD LEAF' THERE ARE SEVERAL STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS ONLINE. ALSO, IF YOU PURCHASE GOLD LEAF IT SHOULD COME WITH EXPLICIT DIRECTIONS.

HOPE THIS HELPS. HAPPY GUILDING! LEISHA
