Question
I purchased a D22 cone 10 gas kiln and am having trouble finding someone to move and hook up the 1000 gal. propane tank. I need to fire a load in the next few weeks. Is it possible to use a smaller portable tank just to get me through this one firing?
Hi Cara, I live in Australia so I am not sure wether I can help you or not. our gas comes by Kilo weight. I buy 45kg bottles that are approx 5 feet high and approx 15 inches in diameter, I get 4 firings from this to cone 10 with a 10cuft 2 burner gas kiln.
