Ceramics/how to seal (from heast and water) a photograph on a tile

Question
Dear Sam

I would like to use old B/W family photos on 4 x 4 glazed tiles and use them as part of a splash back for a basin and electric hob. I am not sure how to a) stick the photo to the tile securly, and b) what to use to seal the photo to ensure it is both waterproof and splash proof from cooking. The tiles will not be so close to the hob, nor the sink unit, but should be able to withstand steam and some heat.
Thank you
Liz

Answer
Hi Liz, the heat is the deciding factor. Send an email to this company.

I imported thier product(I live in Australia) for a inkjet printer, ran it through my printer and applied it to a pot, no problems, it works, but you have heat involved.
