Question
My husband purchase 3 100 lb bags of dry plaster molding and mixed some per instructions and poured it into our best vase molds.
It harden so fast while trying to pour it out of the vase mold, that we cant remove the plaster. I'm now in search of vase molds to make others and can you help me in my search of such.

Thanks
Pat

Answer
Hi,

I am not sure where you can purchase vase moulds. But you could buy some vases that you like the shape of. Then make you moulds from them. Any symetrical object is very easy to make a mould of.

Sorry do you want to make plaster vases? or why did you pour plaster into a mould?
So yeah a two part mould would be best, go buy a cheap vase and practice with the plaster. If you want to get plaster out of a plaster mould you would need a release agent grease or something similar to stop the plaster sticking to the plaster mould.
So I hope this helps.
