Ceramics - Where to find a ceramic Shop in VA

Expert: Leisha Hiester - 9/26/2009

Question
Hi, I am praying you can help me. We used to go to a shop in Virginia Beach, VA, but then we moved out to Wakefield VA. I can not find out if the Birdneck Ceramic Shop has moved or where they went, but I am looking for a shop not to far from us. We are now in Wakefield VA now in the 23888 zip. We used to go as a family and we were taught how to do the greenware and bisque. Please can you refer me to someone or some place I would greatly appreciate it.

Barbara

Answer
Barbara,

Here's a listing of cities near you that have members in the CCSA, which is the Contemporary Ceramics Studios. I wasn't sure which city was closest to you. If you contact the one closest to you they will probably know of a studio whose doing greenware. They typically only carry bisque. Hope this helps. Leisha
