Ceramics/plaster mold

Question
I have a 4 piece plaster mold. It leaks slip even though tied with rubber bands and I would like to know if there is anyway to seal the joins.
Thanks.
Janette

Answer
Hi Janette, the only way is to look and see where the pieces are not matching, check the locating peg and dimple where the pieces join up. Test each joining piece by feeling if they move about or rest together neatly. Any plaster removed from the joining surfaces may alter the product.
