Question

santa
Hello
I have this santa I found at my moms from the 40's. It looks like concrete. It weights about 150 lbs and is 4-4.5 feet tall. I was wondering if you know anything about it. I also need to fix the foot. It was made to stand outside so I was not thinking it was plaster. What material should I use to fix it..concrete? WOndering if you knew a value?

Answer
Dear Martha,

How cool is he? How fun too to keep him in the family. I'm not an antiques expert, but here are a few folks that may be helpful to you. I would really check out his value prior to attempting any repairs. Often, repairs devalue an antique. Some are done on pottery, but only by experts. Hope this is helpful. Leisha
