Question
Hi, I am throwing with royal porcelain, turning, but still quite wet as I then distort the bases to square (just tapping them on the side until square), I seem to get alot of crackes after bisque firing, I am drying them very slowly, and still the cracks!?
Anyone out there have suggestion, I have thought of using southern ice???
Regards Su

Answer
Dear Su,
I have just this year located thee absolute best porcelain! I am so excited about it. It is from Georgies in Portland, Oregon. They recently developed it and I am in love with it. I have struggled with porcelain cracks also for years. I have found I am able to throw, hand-build, sprig mold and more with this new body. Here's the information;

Georgies Ceramic and Clay co.
800-999-CLAY

CC552 • Trillium Porcelain

Hope this helps. Leisha
