Ceramics/ceramic slip

Question
QUESTION: I'm just a ceramic hobbyist, have my own kiln(s) and a couple hundred molds, doing ceramics off/on.  Would like to know if there is a dry mixture, for slip, that you could just add water to, mix and pour?  Would be so much easier and better, especially for storage during those 'vacant' times that I'm doing other hobbys.

Thank You,

Barbara

ANSWER: Barbara,
Yes, you can mix your own slip, but there a few tricks you'll need to know. First tell me where you live and I'll find a local supplier for you.

QUESTION: Leisha,
I live in central Texas.
The slip 'mixture' that I'm referring to is a combination of all the ingredients for regular ceramic slip, minus the water.  You can mix a little bit or a larger amount.  That's what I'm talking about; have already been given the mixture 'recipe' for making the powder and that's not what I'm asking about.  I'm just wanting to buy the mixture, already pre-made and just add water.
Plus would like to know the pros and cons of this product.

Thank you,
Barbara

I'm not sure if they carry slip, but they should know who does. There are plenty more suppliers in TX. Feel free to write me back if you need to. Hope this helps.
