Ceramics/FIRING PMC3

Question
Is it possible to convert a gas grill into a kiln to be used for firing PMC3?  If not, what is the best (and least expensive) alternative to buying a kiln?

Answer
Dear Trisha,
Anything is possible, but I've not heard of anyone doing it before. For the benefit of those not familiar with what PMC3 is, it stands for Precious Metal Clay. It's a fine silver that you can model like clay. PMC3 fires at lower temperatures of 110-1800F.

The least expensive alternative method to a kiln is a torch, like a Butane Torch. Here's a great site for you with good information;

Hope this helps. Leisha
