Question
Hi Leisha, I saw your response regarding the school project that asked about glazing on glazed tiles, could you tell me where to get an unglazed tile?  We are also doing a school project, and what do you recommend for glaze?  The regular school clay glazes or something else?

Answer
Dear Mary,

Do you have a local ceramic supplier or a 'Paint your own Pottery' studio? If you're not sure, tell me what city you're in and I will supply you with one. Often a local studio/supplier will give you a discounted rate if they know it is for a school.

If there's not one in your area, there are plenty of suppliers you can order from. Here's one good one;

Bisque Imports
406 E. Catawba Street
Belmont, NC 28012
888 568-5991

Your school glazes should be fine. Most schools use Amaco glazes or something similar.

Happy tiling, Leisha
