Question

Jamar Mallory Green Fl
Hello
I have recently acquired a beautiful Jamar Mallory green floral hand painted bowl or pot. It is very light weight and not sure if it's a pottery piece, porcelain, or what. I haven't been able to find much info regarding this company other than the molds they were known for. Is this type of piece typical of the company and what else should I know about it. What is the Value? It is lovely.

Answer
Dear Sheila,

Jamar Mallory was a mold company popular in the 1950's. Lots of the pieces are still around and I've seen them valued on average $10-20, but I am not an expert on valuing items. Here's a source you could contact that may be more helpful;

Hope this helps a bit.
