i have a platter that is dated 1953 is it of any value

Dear Diana,
Of course it is of some value, but without seeing it it's difficult to value it. Also, I am not an antiques expert. Do you have any photos of the platter? Does it have any marks on the bottom? Do you have photos of the marks? That would help.
