I was wondering how to apply gold halo. and at what cone do I fire it at? Thanks for any help you can give me!

Dear Anne,

"Gold Halo" or Halo Gold is an overglaze. Overglazes - Gold, White Gold, Halo Gold, Mother of Pearl and Mardi Gras are applied over an already fired glaze.

They fire at a low temperature(cone 018 - 020). Ensure that the glaze underneath the overglaze is compatible.

Always designate a brush that you use only for this specific overglaze to avoid contamination. Clean brushes well.
