Question
QUESTION: Hi there,

First of all, thank you in advance for any help or info that you can offer me.

My grand mother has a tea set that was passed down to her.  She is not sure anything about the set, IE, history, age, etc..  I decided to do some research, but its proven a lot harder then I anticipated.  I will give you the couple details I know, and you can give me any info you know, or at least maybe point me in the right direction for research.

all the pieces are stamped on the bottom with- England 7-58

Also it has a name on the bottom, EMPIRE ENGLAND, and 22 kt gold trim witch also is stamped on the bottom.  Another number that appears on the bottom of the pieces, is 5254 and all the pieces has a marking.  The marking is simply 3 little stokes in gold paint or ink.

The pieces are straight forward white, with green trim and gold trim.  This is about all I know!  Its pretty vague.

Thanks again for your time and energy, I really do appreciate it.  Have a wonderful afternoon.

Cheers,

Brad

ANSWER: Dear Brad,
Can you forward any photos of the set? Can you send a photo of the bottom including the marking? These would greatly help identify the pieces. I apologize in advance, I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow for a week, but will surely check back with you when I return. Thank you, Leisha

QUESTION: Hi again Leisha,

I was wondering if you have an alternate email address, so I can send the other pics I have.  Unfortunately, it seems this website only allows me to upload one pic.  I have a few pics for your viewing.  Thanks again!

Best,

Brad

Answer
Dear Brad,
I know I have seen this pattern before. I have looked and looked. I'll keep looking. I had a close friend pass away this week and haven't had much time to look again, but I'll keep trying. You might want to consult with an antiques or collectibles expert or try replacements.com in the meantime.
