QUESTION: I anticipate taking these to an expert, which is why I'm asking this question now.  I didn't want an exact amount but an estimate would have been helpful so I could determine if they are treating me honestly.

ANSWER: Dear Jamie,
If these are real Imari, depending upon their condition, I've seen them go for $300-$3,500. I'd be very interested to know what the expert determines about them. Please come back and let me know and I'll try to double check for you. Leisha

QUESTION: The vases are 9 1/2" tall with the top opening being 4" across. I've attached a picture of the bottom of the vase with the name.  Also, is there anything in particular I should look for in a local antiques expert?  This is all new to me.  Thanks!

Answer
Jamie,
I would look for a reputable antiques dealer whose been established and in business for a long time. If you're near a large city, start there. The dealer should have references and if you ask around town, generally people know who the best is. If your city has a museum of any type, they will know too who in town knows their stuff. :) Hope this helps. Leisha
