Question

My grandfather bought an old tile painting in a frame, for $75,, in 1978 at a yardsale. Its a big ship in open sea, has four flags long orangish-red, red, blue and green, and a yellow with a red dot. Be hind it on the left side is a white ship. No signature. But back says ha152 1504. can u help me find info?

Answer
Dear Tabitha,
Wow, it's beautiful! I'm not an antiques expert. I do ceramics/pottery. Do you have a photo of the marking on the back? Is it just numbers or any symbol? I highly recommend you consult and antiques expert and one who specializes in tile. You might want to have this insured. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
