Ceramics/Double firing

Question
I want to fire some plates with crystalline glazes (cone 10) on the inside (I have an electric kiln I use) and then I want to fire again in a reduction kiln to get a nice Tamaku (sp?) on the bottom and sides. Will the crystals disappear? Should I do the reduction firing first? Am I nuts?

thanks

Answer
Sorry, I don't do reduction firing. Tried it once and about burnt the building down and none of the pieces came out good. I know crystal glazes do not fire well twice most of the crystals disappear. Also, anything flat that is fired more then once will probably crack in half.
