Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I've been looking for a recipe for tube lining slip but haven't     been able to find one. Could you help me please.

ANSWER: I am sorry but I do not know what tube lining slip is?? Is it maybe called something else. We have a silver tube that you make slivers and dots with and press it out of a tube. Is that what you mean?

QUESTION: Thank you for your reply.Tube lining is what is used on Moorcroft pottery (a UK firm) it is used to draw raised outlines, with a slip trailer, which are then flooded with glaze. Hope that helps.

Answer
Yes, I use regular slip that has set in the bucket . It is the slip that I cut off on the molds. then I put alittle water with it take it to the right consistency. Some use a wax paper to let the slip sit out in and then it dries up a bit . Sorry I don't have a recipe. I just use what is left from the molds.
