Question
My boyfriends email was left open months ago. Yes I was a snoop but have previously suspected him of cheating. He had emails to and from escort services and online personals of both men and women. I was too afraid to say anything for months until last month I found him emailing a male where they had plans to meet. I was nausiated and confronted him. He denied that he met anyone he talked with. He said the recent email was to prove to him I was a snoop. I feel this was just a cover up since he got caught. should I believe him that he supposedly stopped the chats with others last year? we have been dating for 2.5 years do not know if I can make it to three. Im really tired of snooping and hurt form the betrayal.

Answer
Well if you have to snoop on him to begin with, then you obviously don't trust him and therefore shouldn't be with him to begin with. Relationships are suppose to be built on trust, you shouldn't have to snoop to find out if your boyfriend is cheating, because you should trust him enough not to betray you. Seeing as how you can't stop snooping, it appears your boyfriend isn't trustworthy and isn't somebody you should be wasting your time on. Get out of this relationship now, you know he's a cheat and he isn't going change his ways, so you need to change boyfriends. Find somebody you can trust and leave this guy alone.
