How to Deal With Cheaters/cheating boyfriend
Expert: Don - 6/26/2008
QuestionHi,
i have been with my boyfriend for 7 years. I am 21 yrs old now and we have been together since highschool.I have never had another boyfriend. I found out that he was cheating on me around christmas time.He has cheated on me a couple of times and with random people. When he told me about the cheating he didnt stop,i had found out he was seeing a girl at his work for the last couple of months and had been intimate twice with her. This devestated me because we both lost our viginity to eachother, and not only did i have to deal with the fact he had been cheating on me but also with the fact that after he stopped cheating he became even more angry with me. He blamed me for him cheating on me and didnt show any remorse. He would also put me down and caused me to have low self-esteem. Months have passed now, and he has changed immensly and has become very kind to me and we are happy together. I just cant get over the fact that after he cheated on my he wasnt there for me and i felt like i was all alone. Also even though he is nice to me i still suffer from low self-esteem. I really dont know how to overcome this and start new.
AnswerYou start anew by breaking up with this loser you are dating. Your self esteem must be low if you'll stay with a guy who has cheated on you and treated you like crap. You need to leave this dude and move on with your life. Stop wasting time with a guy who cares so little about your feelings that he would actually blame you for something he did.
You have got to look at yourself and realize that you're a special person and way to good to be treated the way he treated you.
Leave this guy alone, the only way for you to get your self-respect back is to show this guy you are better than him and leave him behind.
