I have a boyfriend I've been dating for quite some time now and we live together.  I've never done anything like this, but i recently started cheating.  Things have not been good at home, our sex life is next to nothing and i have felt ignored alot, but don't want to give up the relationship.  The guy I've been cheating with knows about the boyfriend is alright with it, wishes i would leave him, but says for now he just enjoys what time he can get with me.  He has been wanting me to come stay for the night though.  Keeps asking for it and I'd really like to, but can not find a reason to tell the boyfriend why I'd be out all night that sounds reasonable.  i don't think the guy on the side will be around for to long i just need a little something to make me feel wanted and to pick me up out of the rut my relationship has fallen into.  Something to break me out of the boringness of home life.  Any suggestions?

I have a few suggestion that may or may not work, depending on your situation.

You can use work as an excuse depending on what kind of job you have, you can tell him you have to go out of town for a night on a business trip.

If you have family that lives nearby, you can tell them your family member is ill and you want to stay with them overnight just in case they need some kind of help.

One of my favorite tools is to provoke a fight with my partner and make it a huge fight and then tell them you're leaving because you're so upset and then don't come home or answer your phone, by the time you come back the next day, they'll be so worried about you they'll probably forgive the fight and believe any lame excuse you give them for while you were out all night.

A little other advice is if this guy wants you to spend the night or leave your boyfriend you should break it off with him. He's getting to close to you and his feelings appear to be involved and that's always a disaster when it comes to cheating because next thing you know he'll be trying to make you his girlfriend and threatening to tell your boyfriend what you have been up too.

You should dump the guy you're cheating with.

Anyway those are some suggestions that may or may not work depending on your situation.
