My boyfriend and i have lived together for 3 years. We recently went to a rock concert. I cannot drop any names. After the show my boyfriend left for the car, i went to the back to get an autograph and hopefully meet this person. He is about 20 years older then me.
To my surprise there was nobody outback waiting for him. I was the only one, so i stayed. Lucky me, i received an invitation to hang out on the bus, after we talked for about 30 minutes. We REALLY hit it off. I told him i had to go, he preceded to hand me a piece of paper w/ his e-mail address and cell phone number. I called him the next day. We've been talking ever since. He knows i have a boyfriend who i live with.
But we cannot keep ourselves away from our phones.
He's invited me out west to his house. Offered to send me a ticket over then Internet.
We get along so great and i feel like i am more then a fling for him (he is single by the way).
I'm so confused as to what to do. My relationship w/ my boyfriend has been on the rocks for about a year.
Should i fly out to see this singer, have a good time and come back? Should i leave my boyfriend? I'm extremely confused. I never thought i would be in this position.

Answer
If you want your relationship with your boyfriend to be over than you should fly out and see the singer. However if you want to work on your relationship and keep your boyfriend then I would advise against it. If you have been having trouble for a year and are thinking about cheating, why waste time cheating just to come back. Do yourself a favor and avoid the drama just break up with your boyfriend because the relationship isn't going work anyway.

As far as the rock star, I wouldn't by into the fantasy so quickly with him either. Just think about it, how many rock stars do you know of that have met women after their show and gone on to live happily ever after with them. So chances are that's not going happen with you either, so if you want to fly out there to hang out with him and have yourself a good time, then do it, but don't get your hopes up to high that you'll have any kind of real future with this guy.

So if you are going go see the guy break up with your boyfriend before hand, and save yourself the trouble of trying to hide an affair from him.
