My boyfriend of 5 months thinks that I cheated on him while he was gone. He was in Marine boot camp for 13 weeks. I never did but he thinks that I did. I don't know why, because I never gave him a reason to think that I did. I understand that he thinks that because our only means of comunication while he was gone was through letters. I don't want to break up with him over this, because it's a stupid reason to, at least I think so. Any help would be good.

I am sorry he is doubting your fidelity but this would be due to either
1 He hasnt known you for long enough to trust you or he lacks self confidence
2 You have giver him reason to doubt you.

I would suggest you develop a stronger tie by having long term interest, being open to each other to avoid suspision. If you are sincere with him and continously loyal to him, he would trust you more.

But if the suspicion persists, then he is probably cheating himself and projecting it on you
