My ex-boyfriend left me in April 2006. He started dating one of his female customers right away end of May 2006 and married her in October 2006. Since August 2006 we have had an affair - with interruptions. She found out that we were intimate but she is staying with him, he does not want to leave her either. I still love him but after many attempts I told him today that I cannot have any contact with him anymore. I still had hope that he wanted me back one day, the reality is that he is married. He told me that even if he and his wife would not work out he would not come back to me. I asked him what he wants from me and he said, he did not know, nothing. Why do guys cheat on their wifes and don't want to leave them?

Not to hurt your feelings or be to harsh, men cheat on their wives and don't want to leave because stupid women like you allow them to. Why should he leave his wife and happy home if you're willing to have sex with him even though he has a wife. What would he benefit from leaving his wife, he'd have to go through a divorce and possibly give up half of his stuff. Why go through all of that when you're willing to have sex with him while he is still married.
