How to Deal With Cheaters/Does this count as cheating?
Expert: Don - 7/17/2007
QuestionQUESTION: Hello,
I was dating this guy for six weeks. We were pen pals for four months before that, before we met in real life and hit it off. He told me we were not serious because we had only been dating six weeks, but he put me on his online profile as his girlfriend. During that time we dated, he was having sex with other women and dumped me to be with one of them.
Does that fact that he was with other women count as cheating?
ANSWER: No it's not cheating because he told you that you were serious meaning that you weren't in a committed relationship.
It's only cheating if the two of you have a talk and decide you are only going to be with each other and then he goes out and has sex with somebody else.
Since you never had that talk, what he did wasn't cheating.
I hope this helped and good luck

QUESTION:
He shouldn't have put me up on his online profile as his girlfriend though because that gave me the wrong idea.
So basically the only thing he wanted from me was sex then?
I guess if I was just another girl, just another peice of ass to him, then I'm glad he broke up with me and good riddance.
AnswerI mean I guess he shouldn't have put you as his online girlfriend but I think people take online sites to seriously, just because somebody says their in a relationship on Myspace or Facebook doesn't mean anything.
And yes he only wanted the sex.
Be happy he dumped you, find yourself a good man and move on.
