How to Deal With Cheaters/repost- last guy petered out

QuestionWe are sorry, but J.M. Adam wasn't able to answer your question:
Since you may have taken pride in yourself for not "getting caught" thought I would ask a few.
I was involved with what I now realize was a serial cheater: those who love danger, family role models cheated, friends cheat, calls/ hanging out with lots of females ("just friends"), moves in on the needy w/financial issues etc.
I fell for the forgiveness thing one time, and of course he did it again as you said.
I ended it. The last woman committed suicide in his house, and now he is suffering from major guilt.
He cheated on his 2nd wife decades ago in her 3rd trimester. Baby died a week later! You have to understand also about the religious aspect of this. Even if a cheater thinks they "got by with it" God sees what's up. I believe my ex has been punished by God several times for his actions.
Now 61 years old I think he's ready to give it up. We still talk at a minimum, and I would like to see him get help for this sickness.
What psychiatric type of specialist would YOU recommend for someone with little, on no conscience?

AnswerAny basic psychiatrist should be able to help your ex with his problems. You might want to focus on a relationship expert or a person who deals in marriage counseling or couple therapy. But there isn't a certain psychiatrist that deals solely with what your ex is dealing with.
