QUESTION: my boyfriend broke off a 7 year relationship about 3 months ago and then a month later started dating me. i work night shift at a hospital in ky and when i go to work he usually calls me but here recently i have to hunt him down through our friends. and tonight i left at 5:00 on the 19 and and its now 330 am on the 20 and no one has heard from him. he usually calls and checks in when he is with friends but i havent got a call tonight during work and all his friends havent seen him. do you think that he is with another girl?

ANSWER: Probably, after dating somebody else for 7 years he needed to take more than couple of months before he got right into another relationship. He needed more time to go out and date a little before he became committed to another woman so fast.

So I wouldn't be shocked if he is out dating somebody else.

QUESTION: ok so after i got home from work he showed up at 10 am and he had been to a bar with another guy and girl and im not fond of the girl at all. so we got into a big argument and it ended up me moving out and going back to moms and now he says he cares for me and all but he now says he needs time  to get to know me better. is he just trying to let me off the easy way? and what should i do or say?

Answer
There isn't really anything you can do or say. If he needs time to sort out his feelings about if he wants to be in a relationship with you or not, all you can do is give him time to figure it out. It's like I told you before he realized that he rushed into a relationship really quickly after just finishing a long term relationship and he needs a little time to be alone and single. So just give him the time he needs to figure out where he wants to go in life, that's all you can really do.
