Question
Hey, my name is Kayla and I'm planning on starting a cheerleading team in a elementary school that is close to my house i have know idea where to begin but i really want to do this. I've been cheering for for 3 years and I'm on the Niagara LadyKats
can you place help me

Hi Kayla,
The first thing to do is to go to the school officials and see if this is something that they are going to let you do. Then you need to find a staff member that will be your advisor. Then, you can go about recruiting kids, raising money for uniforms, etc. and then you start cheering! Good Luck!

Experience
My Experience in the area: I cheered on my grade school team for 4 years. I danced for on pointe for 14 years. I have coached for 9 years for grade school basketball cheerleading, grade school competitive squads, and all-star. I now own my own national championship all-star team.
Education/Credentials
I am safety certified by the AACCA. I have a BA in Elementary Education and am a certified teacher. I also have my masters in library science with an emphasis on teens.
