Question
I'm in 10th grade and im trying out for varsity cheerleading in March. I've never tried out before and we have to spirit out, i want to say things more original than GO TEAM or the name of my school. Do you have any suggestions??

Answer
Hi Kacie,

Sure, you can come up with all kinds of things to say when you spirit out. The most original thing I can think of would be to run out saying a little cheer. For instance, if you ran out saying, "Blue, blue, blue and white, East Cougars, fight, fight fight!" Something like that will be creative and stick in the judge's minds when they make their decision. Just make sure its not too long. Only about two lines. Hope that helps! Good Luck!

Happy Cheering!
