ok i have a question for you!I have seen flyers my size and im not fat but im just tall and the flyer for our team is really short and so i was wondering if all flyers are tiny i mean i have seen flyer that are a lot bigger than me sooooo... why arn't I a flyer?

There are alot of answers to that question. It depends on the level and type of your squad. I mean is it an all-star team with all age people, a high school squad, a college squad. Also is it all girls or co-ed. The size of flyers definitely does range but it all depends on how talented the bases are. One year on my college team we took two really tall flyers b/c 1). they were good and 2). we had the guys good enough to handle their height. Two years later a girl of the same height and talent got cut because at that time we only had one guy who could handle her (aka me..lol) and I already had a returning partner. Also no matter how good of a flyer you are, you might just be more talented as a base and better help the squad as one. Honestly the only way you're going to get a true answer is if you politely ask the coach.
