Jasmine, my daughter has been cheering for 6 years now.  She's only 12 and her only experience has been with a cheerleading gym here in Colorado.  Unfortunately, the cost was getting to high and I had to take her out of cheer.  

She absolutely LOVES cheer.  The gym we were with would have her there six days a weeks, and team practices were a total of 8 hours a week.  The other was stunt and tumbling classes plus a private lesson.  It just got to be too much and too costly.  Here's my question, I could afford to put her into a tumbling class to keep up her skills (so I did that).  But, I also want her to continue to get help with stunting, etc. so she continues to improve those skills.  Since we pulled her out due to lack of funds, she can not go back to that gym.  

What can I do for her?  She loves cheer and doesn't know what to do with herself.  Unfortunately, I'm not very savvy on the cheer world.  Are there other avenues I could pursue so she can keep her passion alive?  Her goal is to someday own and operate her own cheer gym.  I'm hoping you may have some resources for me.  Thanks!

Great question! There are many types of cheerleading teams. Allstar,the one your daughter was just, is very expensive. But, i reccomend putting your daughter in a organizational cheerleading team.
They are not as costly.Organizational cheerleading teams cheer at football games and go to competitions. The prices range from a one payment fee of $45-$300. Send a followup for more info.
