Cheerleading/Winter Dress Opinion?

Question
This is my first year cheerleading for my school. It's starting to get rather cold outside. Can you recommend something I can wear under my normal uniform, to keep myself somewhat warm? A few other girls who work with me recommend a black turtleneck, since our team colors are red and black. What do you recommend? Also for indoor events would a basic black choker worn with the uniform, be a bit unstylish?

Answer
Hi Lisa,

Well, to your first question I would ask your coach is he/she has any rules about what can and cannot be worn with your uniform. If he/she doesn't care, then the best options would be a black, or red  turtleneck or underarmour. Those are great for keeping warm. Asking your coach, there may also be an underarmour option that matches your uniform. Be sure to ask before you buy.

To your second question, when you mention choker, I assume you mean a necklace. On my teams and on most of the teams I know, jewelry is strictly forbidden as a safety risk. I would definitely ask your coach about jewelry before you wear it.

Good luck with your season!
Happy Cheering,
