Question
hi I'm Sydney and i have a Question on how should i get in shape? because I'm bigger and don't look like i could do anything that a cheerleader can do!!! please help me

Answer
Hi Sydney,

Well, first things first, anyone can be a cheerleader. It makes no difference as to your size. What anyone who wants to be a cheerleader needs to do is become strong enough to stunt, tumble, jump, dance etc. The best thing to do is start a conditioning routine to make yourself stronger. Start with push-ups, crunches, v-ups, straddle-ups, running, biking, supermans, reverse supermans, stabilizers, reverse stabilizers, lifting weights, etc. There are tons of things you can do to help you become strong enough to be a cheerleader. I tell people to usually focus the most on the core muscles (the abs) because they control most of what you do in cheerleading. Get going on these things and in no time, all the stuff you think you can't do will be easy as pie. Good luck! Let me know how it goes.
Happy Cheering!
