Answer
Hi CJ

First of all good luck with your tryouts. Unfortunately, as I haven't been involved with school cheerleading in a long time, I'm not the best person to help you with a cheer. But I do have some suggestions. First, pay attention to what kind of cheers your school seems to gravitate to. Do they like show-offy cheers about being the best, do they like clean cut cheers that focus around mascot and color, or are they totally into crowd participation or all of the above. This will give you an inside tip on what kind of cheer you should be aiming to do. Second, search online for cheers to give you different ideas of what you could do. Thirdly, email one of the other experts here that does school cheerleading or talk to one of your school's current or past cheerleaders. Good luck to you with the cheer and with tryouts! Let me know how it goes!
Happy Cheering!
