Subject: Practicing Flying at Home
Question Hi Kimmi!
I'm a flyer, but I want to improve even when I'm not practicing with my team. Do you have any ideas for me?
Thanks!
Rachel
P.S. At my Cheerleading gym they have these little pedestals with enough room for one foot. Should I buy one, and, if so, where? Thanks again!
Answer Hi Rachel,
It's great to want to practice! At home, you can do lots of stretches and work on your tricks. You don't necessarily need a pedestal unless you want one. Doing it on the pedestal will help you work on tricks, balancing, and strengthening your knee and ankle. Without the pedestal, you can stand on a fluffy pillow, your bed, or a chair, but wherever you are, Be Careful! Good luck!
Happy Cheering!
Kimmi
